The briefing said that so far, more than 12,800 electric vehicles and about 160,000 electric motorcycles have been manufactured in the country._x000D_

The government has allocated a subsidy of Rs 9 billion for 2- and 3-wheeled electric vehicles, while eligible individuals purchasing electric motorcycles are being given a subsidy of Rs 80,000 per motorcycle.
