Voters will elect their representatives in 13 constituencies of three districts of Mirpur division – Mirpur, Kotli and Bhimber._x000D_
The polling process will continue from 8 am to 5 pm, for which all arrangements have been completed. Polling equipment has been provided to the election staff, while special security arrangements have been made to maintain law and order. A total of 1.414 million voters will exercise their right to vote in 13 constituencies of Mirpur division, including 725,118 male and 675,628 female voters. 2,454 polling stations have been set up across the division for the election process. 597 polling stations have been set up in 4 constituencies of Mirpur district, 1107 in 6 constituencies of Kotli district, and 608 in 3 constituencies of Bhimber district. In these constituencies, candidates of political parties as well as independent candidates are also in the fray. There will be a contest between various political parties including the PPP, Muslim League (N), and the Istiqlal Pakistan Party and independent candidates, while a total of 296 candidates are in the fray._x000D_

Chief Election Commissioner Azad Kashmir Justice (retd) Ghulam Mustafa Mughal has made it clear that action will be taken against those who obstruct the voting process or disrupt the election environment as per the law._x000D_

Chief Secretary Azad Jammu and Kashmir Khushal Khan said that all state institutions are fully prepared for the conduct of peaceful elections. In these constituencies, candidates of political parties as well as independent candidates are also in the fray. He said that strict action will be taken against those who try to disrupt the electoral process or disrupt peace and order._x000D_
