He said that changes in the prices of petroleum products on a daily basis are not acceptable under any circumstances, and we reject the government’s proposed daily price mechanism._x000D_

Noman Ali Butt said that after the failure of negotiations, petrol pumps across Pakistan will remain closed for an indefinite period from 12 o’clock tomorrow night._x000D_

It should be remembered that the government had decided that under the new pricing mechanism of petroleum products, OGRA will now issue ex-depot prices of petrol and high-speed diesel daily._x000D_

Under the new mechanism, OGRA will determine new prices based on the average global prices of the last 7 days, while the prices already issued on Saturdays and Sundays will remain unchanged.
