US President JD Vance, along with Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman, spoke to the media before the talks began and said that President Trump has given us the authority to resolve the dispute diplomatically, and will try to resolve all issues including the restoration of the Strait of Hormuz and the Iranian nuclear program._x000D_

He said that Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz demonstrated excellent leadership and excellent negotiating skills on this occasion, for which he is appreciated._x000D_

JD Vance, while talking about Field Marshal Asim Munir, humorously said that Pakistan and India are the two most important people in my life, my wife is from India and Field Marshal Asim Munir is from Pakistan, and I have hardly talked to anyone else as much as I have talked to Field Marshal Asim Munir in the last 3 months._x000D_

He said that Field Marshal Asim Munir is a military commander, but he has played an important diplomatic role._x000D_

He said that US Vice President JD Vance, Qatar’s brotherly Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman and Field Marshal Asim Munir are the best role models for the negotiations.
