The University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore, in collaboration with Huzaifa International Sargodha, organized an international technical seminar on “Immunization and Disease Control in Livestock†at its City Campus._x000D_
UVAS Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Masood Rabbani inaugurated the seminar, which was attended by experts from Pakistan and Türkiye, including Dr Abdullah Tutak of Vetal Animal Health Products and Prof Dr Mustafa Haksoz of Ankara University._x000D_
Addressing the participants, Prof Rabbani highlighted the challenges facing Pakistan’s livestock sector, including animal diseases, climate change and biosecurity issues. He stressed the importance of modern vaccination, disease control and knowledge-sharing to improve livestock health and productivity._x000D_
The seminar featured expert presentations on modern vaccine technologies, veterinary microbiology, disease diagnosis and practical approaches to livestock immunization, providing participants with insights into the latest developments in animal health.
