A local court in Chandigarh has summoned actor Salman Khan, his sister Alvira Khan Agnihotri and the directors of Style and Content Jewellery Private Limited in an alleged fraud case._x000D_

According to Indian media, the court has ordered all the individuals to appear on October 5 and submit their responses to the charges._x000D_

Indian media says that the case has been registered on the application of Chandigarh businessman Arun Gupta, who claims that he was lured with false promises to open the ‘Being Human’ jewellery showroom, due to which he had to suffer a loss of several crores of rupees._x000D_

According to the application, Arun Gupta invested about Rs 3 crore in setting up the showroom, out of which Rs 1 crore was spent only on the construction and preparation of the showroom._x000D_

The complaint states that after the showroom opened, the company did not provide business support as promised, while the business was severely affected due to the closure of the jewelry supply store since February 2020. The petition alleges that 6 people associated with the company made investments by providing false information._x000D_

On the other hand, the company has already denied these allegations and the company says that Salman Khan had no direct role in the 2018 agreement, while the Salman Khan Foundation had only licensed the ‘Being Human’ brand in 2015, and the company was fully responsible for the jewelry business._x000D_

According to Indian media, the case will be heard on October 5.
